Meet Dr. Elena Semenov

My profession allows me to be a part of our healthcare system, but more importantly, part of our patients’ lives. I enjoy meeting different people and providing them with compassion and understanding while meeting their dental needs. It is fulfilling to share with them my knowledge and experience and, in turn, learn from them as well.

I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Western Ontario in 1994. I am involved in all aspects of general dentistry, but have a special interest in endodontics and oral surgery. I enjoy staying current in new technology and materials, learning better ways of doing procedures, and adding to my own experiences with other clinicians and specialists. Continuing education inspires me to achieve perfection in everything I do.

I immigrated to Canada from Russia in 1986 and have lived in London, Ontario ever since. I have the support of a wonderful husband and a daughter who is in her second year of undergraduate studies. She is passionate about human rights and hopes to attain her degree in that field. We also have two cats who are equal parts of our family and certainly make our lives more colorful.

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family talking, exchanging ideas, and sharing points of view. We enjoy watching movies and documentaries, and taking day trips to art galleries and beaches in Ontario. I also enjoy reading.
